These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website galwayexecutivetravel.ie and your booking of private hire and executive transfer services with Galway Executive Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking or paying online, you agree to these Terms.
1. About our service
We provide pre-booked private transfers (including airport, city, and regional journeys) in Galway and the west of Ireland. Services are subject to vehicle and driver availability for the route and time slot you select. We operate as a licensed private hire provider; this is not a shared shuttle or public transport service unless explicitly stated for a specific product.
2. Bookings
- You must provide accurate contact details, pickup/drop-off information, passenger numbers, and any special requirements.
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment (deposit or full fare, as offered) and our confirmation by email.
- Quoted prices are based on the route, vehicle tier, and options shown at checkout unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We may refuse or cancel a booking if information is incomplete, misleading, or if we cannot safely or lawfully provide the service.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices displayed on the website are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms for card payments.
- Where a deposit option is available, the remaining balance must be paid before travel unless we agree a different arrangement in writing.
- Additional charges may apply for material changes (for example extra waiting time beyond the included allowance, additional stops, or excess luggage) — we will explain these before they are incurred where practicable.
4. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

- Refund eligibility depends on notice given and costs already incurred (for example dispatch, allocated vehicle time, or non-recoverable third-party fees).
- If we cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, we will offer a full refund of amounts paid for that booking or, where you prefer, a reasonable alternative time where available.
- Card refunds, when approved, are returned via the original payment method through Stripe and may take several business days to appear on your statement.
5. Your responsibilities
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location. Waiting time allowances, if any, are stated at booking.
- Ensure passenger numbers and luggage fit the booked vehicle category.
- Behave lawfully and respectfully; we may refuse service for abusive, unsafe, or unlawful conduct without refund where permitted by law.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise agreed.
6. Our responsibilities
- We will use reasonable skill and care to provide the booked transfer with a suitable licensed vehicle and driver.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example severe weather, road closures, accidents, or airport/security delays).
- Flight monitoring or meet-and-greet arrangements apply only where explicitly included in your booking or confirmed in writing.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as missed flights, lost profits, or alternative transport costs) except where required by law.
8. Lost property
If you leave belongings in a vehicle, contact us promptly. We will try to help recover items but cannot guarantee recovery and are not responsible for items left unattended after a reasonable handover period.
9. Website use
You must not misuse the website (for example attempting unauthorised access, automated scraping, or fraudulent bookings). Content on the site is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
10. Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to new bookings from the “Last updated” date shown. Existing confirmed bookings are governed by the Terms in effect when payment was made, unless a change is required by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
